Srikant Nekkanty

Srikant Nekkanty currently serves as the Director of Silicon Design Engineering at AMD, beginning in April 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Principal Engineer and Engineering Technology Development Manager at Intel from February 2011 to April 2024, where Srikant led the development of sockets and connectors for Intel's XPU and co-packaged optics roadmap. Previous positions include Post Doctoral Fellow at Henry Ford Hospital, focusing on the biomechanical characterization of musculoskeletal tissue, and Graduate Research/Teaching Associate at The Ohio State University, which involved research on hard thin film coatings and teaching leadership. Srikant also gained experience as a Graduate Intern at Copeland Corporation, investigating damage in scroll compressors. Education includes a PhD and MS in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
