Tyler Colaco is an experienced firmware engineer and technical leader at AMD, contributing to the design and implementation of power management firmware for System-on-a-Chip (SoC) solutions since April 2016. As a Member of Technical Staff, Tyler develops pre-silicon firmware, maintains automation scripts, collaborates with hardware design teams, troubleshoots issues for design verification, and supports post-silicon feature bring-up. Previous roles include senior positions within the Customer Engineering Team, leading integration efforts of AMD GPUs into Apple's platforms, and substantial contributions to the debugging and optimization of graphics processing units. Tyler has also served in administrative and accounting roles at In2ition Realty, alongside earlier engineering experience in testing PCIe hardware features and designing hardware for Set Top Boxes. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science with a focus on Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto.
