Utkarsh Patel

Utkarsh Patel is a Signal Integrity Engineer with experience at AMD, where responsibilities included the development and maintenance of internal signal integrity analysis EDA tools and driver models. Prior to this, Utkarsh served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan, conducting research in computational electromagnetics and exploring Wigner-Smith methods for electromagnetics and acoustic applications. At Cadence Design Systems, Utkarsh worked as a Software Engineer in the Spectre FX Simulation team, enhancing numerical methods for an event-driven transient circuit simulator. Utkarsh holds a Bachelor's Degree, a Master’s Degree, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering, all from the University of Toronto, completed between 2008 and 2019.
