Chris Cabrera

Chris Cabrera has been working in the engineering field since 2012. Chris began their career as a Bartender at Seven Hills Toongabbie RSL Club in 2012 before transitioning to Substation Designer at Endeavour Energy (NSW) in 2013. Chris then worked as an Operational Technology and Support Intern at TransGrid in 2014 and an Electrical Safety and Authorisation Intern at Endeavour Energy (NSW) in 2015. In 2016, they joined Haltech as a Hardware Team Leader, responsible for mentoring, scheduling and coordinating the Hardware section of Research and Development, including Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Warranty and Customer Repairs. Chris also established, developed and refined processes and procedures across the Hardware section to guarantee consistent results and ensure continuous improvement. In 2022, they moved to Advanced Navigation as a Senior Electronics Engineer.

Chris Cabrera graduated from the University of Technology Sydney in 2017 with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and a Diploma of Engineering Practice. Chris'sfield of study was Electronics and Electrical Power.
