Julian Tokuta

Director, Supply Chain at Advanced Oncotherapy

Julian Tokuta has over 20 years of experience in the supply chain and procurement field. Julian began their career in 1999 as a Consultant at Emeritor, where they were responsible for qualitative and quantitative analysis, reports and recommendations on client spend and bought-in-goods/ledgers. In 2001, they moved on to Prestige Purchasing as a Procurement Manager, where they developed and delivered a responsive, flexible network of strategic supply chains nationwide and managed a procurement review programme linked into a target cash flow improvement plan. From 2004 to 2008, they held the position of Purchasing Manager at Welcome Break and then Sourcing Project Manager at ICG Commerce (now Accenture). In 2009, they joined Notore Chemical Industries as the Head of Plant Procurement, where they were responsible for procurement and contract management for a major petrochemical plant and manufacturer of Ammonia and Urea Fertilizer. In 2013, they moved on to Proxima Group as a Senior Procurement Specialist. Most recently, from 2014 to the present, they have been the Director of Supply Chain and Vice President of Procurement at Advanced Oncotherapy plc, where they have been responsible for strategic planning, supply chain management, and procurement.

Julian Tokuta has a diverse educational background, beginning with a GCSE from FGC Kaduna in the years 1980-1986. Julian then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Lagos State University between 1988 and 1992. After that, they completed an Executive MBA in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from Lagos State University between 1997 and 1999. Julian also obtained an MCIPS from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply between 2000 and 2006. Finally, they completed a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Strategy and Procurement Management from the University of Birmingham between 2004 and 2006. Julian also holds an additional certification in MCIPS from CIPS.
