Moataz Karmalawy

Moataz Karmalawy has held various roles in the medical technology industry. Moataz began their career in 1992 as Engineering and Ops Director at Park Medical Systems. Moataz then moved to Philips in 1995, where they served as Vice President. In 2007, they became President of World Wide Particle Therapy at Varian Medical Systems and Siemens Healthineers. Most recently, in 2019, they were appointed President of Advanced Oncotherapy plc.

Moataz Karmalawy obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Engineering from Concordia University between 1990 and 1997. Moataz also attended McGill University between 1994 and 1996, but did not receive a degree. Moataz has no additional certifications.
