Michael Douglass

Michael Douglass has a diverse work experience spanning over 38 years. Michael started their career as a US Navy Officer and served for 20 years until 2002. After leaving the Navy, they worked at Whitney, Bradley & Brown, Inc., where they held positions such as Manager of Program Analysis, Director of Contracts & Program Management, and Vice President of Program Management. In 2012, they became the President & Chief Operating Officer of Capital Connections LLC, a company specializing in federal government marketplace consulting. From 2016 to 2018, they served as the Vice President of Department of Defense Accounts at NT Concepts, focusing on business development and capture for DoD and Investigative Services accounts. In 2018, they founded their own company, Advanced Onion, Inc., where they initially held the role of President and later became the Chief Executive Officer. Additionally, they briefly held the position of President at Capital Connections LLC in 2018.

Michael Douglas holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, which they obtained from 1997-1998. Michael also has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia, which they earned from 1977-1982. In addition, they have additional certifications including "Blockchain: Beyond the Basics" from LinkedIn in 2019 and "FAA Certified Commercial Pilot with Single and Multi-Engine ratings & B-737 Type Rating" from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in 2002.
