Dejiao Lin is an accomplished optical engineer with extensive experience in laser science and research. Currently serving as a Board Director and Senior Scientist at Advanced Optowave Corporation since June 2015, Dejiao Lin previously held the position of Senior Laser Scientist at SPI Lasers from July 2011 to May 2015. A former Research Fellow at the University of Southampton, Dejiao Lin contributed to the "High Power/energy pulsed fibre MOPA" project. Additionally, Dejiao Lin served as an Assistant/Associate Professor at Tsinghua University, leading a project on dynamic measurement for magnetic head flying height. Other notable roles include visiting research fellowships at the University of Leeds and visiting researcher at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology in Japan. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Optical Engineering and a BSc in Precision Instruments from Tsinghua University.
