Vangie Glassner, PHR

Vangie Glassner, PHR has extensive experience in human resources. Vangie began their career as a Human Resources Technician at the Army & Airforce Exchange Service in 1996, where they were responsible for posting positions, conducting interviews, and hiring entry level employees. Vangie also supervised a team of 8 employees and handled tasks such as new hire orientation, performance evaluations, and timekeeping. Vangie worked at this company until 2009.

In 2008, Vangie worked as a Community Liaison Coordinator at the American Embassy in Baku Azerbaijan. Vangie played a vital role in establishing recreational venues for State Department personnel and worked with the local community to assist new families with school enrollment and job searches. Additionally, they collaborated with the Security office to ensure safety within the community. Vangie held this position until 2009.

From 2011 to 2014, Vangie served as an HR Generalist at Catapult Technology. During this time, they contributed to various HR processes, including employee recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations. Vangie left the company in 2014.

Following their tenure at Catapult Technology, Vangie joined Advanced Programs, Inc. in 2014 as an HR Generalist. Vangie continues to leverage their HR expertise in this role.

Vangie Glassner, PHR holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Maryland University College (UMUC), which they obtained from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from South University between 2010 and 2013. In addition to their degrees, Vangie obtained a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in June 2015.
