Bartlomiej Kowalczyk

Bartlomiej Kowalczyk has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Bartlomiej is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Advanced Protection Systems Inc. since January 2023.

Before this, Bartlomiej had their own business, offering financial and management consultancy services, which started in July 2019.

Prior to that, they worked at NEONET S.A. as the Vice President for Finance from July 2021 to February 2023.

Bartlomiej also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Green Cell from October 2020 to July 2021.

Bartlomiej had a significant tenure at Samsung Electronics Polska, initially as the Finance and Management Support Director (Proxy) from January 2017 to August 2020. In this role, they oversaw various financial functions and led a team of direct reports. Bartlomiej was also a part of the Senior Management Team, providing support in strategic decision-making.

Before that, at Samsung Electronics, Bartlomiej served as the SSC Europe PMO, managing the setup of a Shared Service Centre for Financial Departments of several European Sales and Marketing Subsidiaries. Bartlomiej also played a key role in establishing a Captive SSC in Bucharest, Romania.

Prior to joining Samsung Electronics, Bartlomiej gained extensive experience at Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company. Bartlomiej worked as a Commercial Controller, responsible for financial planning and controlling processes related to sales revenues, marketing expenses, and operation expenses. Bartlomiej also held the position of Financial Controller, overseeing financial statements, reporting, and accounting. Additionally, they served as an Internal Audit Manager during their tenure at Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company.

Bartlomiej started their career at Ernst & Young, where they held the role of Senior/Manager in the Audit/Business Advisory department from 2004 to 2009.

Bartlomiej also worked as an Internal Auditor at Coca Cola HBC Polska from March 2003 to June 2004.

Bartlomiej Kowalczyk has a diverse education history that spans over several years. Bartlomiej attended the Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Katowicach from 1997 to 2002, where they earned their MA in Accounting and Finance. In 2002, they also obtained the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from the Institute of Internal Auditors.

From 2002 to 2010, Bartlomiej furthered their education in the field of accounting and auditing. Bartlomiej obtained the Chartered Auditor (Biegły rewident) qualification from The National Chamber of Statutory Auditors (Krajowa Rada Biegłych Rewidentów) in 2002. Bartlomiej then pursued the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification and became an FCCA in 2009. In 2004, they obtained the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Bartlomiej expanded their skill set beyond accounting by attending various business and leadership programs. Bartlomiej completed the Management Development Programme - Management 2011 and the Advanced Executive Programme - Academy of Strategic Leadership, earning diplomas from ICAN Institute in 2010 and 2011, respectively. Bartlomiej also gained a Coaching certificate from the Coaching Center in 2010.
