Cody Barton is currently working as a Senior Engineer at Advanced Robotics at the University of Washington. Cody has previous experience as a Mechanical Engineering Member at PJCC and as a Mechanical team member at Aragon Robotics. Cody is currently pursuing their engineering degree at the University of Washington after graduating from Aragon High School in 2022.

Advanced Robotics at the University of Washington (ARUW) is a student-run competitive robotics team. Engineering and business students come together to build nine robots to compete in the RoboMaster competition, held annually in Shenzhen, China. ARUW provides its student members with hands-on experience in robotics development, engineering management, and business. Through ARUW, student members learn to use professional grade tools and work in a small team to design, build, and test integrated robotic systems. Student leads learn about engineering and business management, gaining insight into all aspects of the project as a whole including project management, budget management, and recruitment.
