Klaudius Scheufele

Klaudius Scheufele is the VP of Algorithmic Development & Data Science at Advanced Scanners, Inc. Klaudius has worked in the field of imaging and physics simulations for over 10 years. Klaudius's previous experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Nanohmics and as a Post Doctoral Researcher at The University of Texas at Austin. Klaudius has been instrumental in the development of various R&D efforts related to sensing, imaging, and physics simulations. These efforts have led to the development of 3D tomographic reconstruction from plenoptic imaging data, the simulation of anisoplanatic aberrations when imaging through turbulence, the simulation-driven design of optimized phase mask for ultra-compact hyperspectral imaging system, and the simulation of supra-threshold laser–tissue interaction.

Klaudius Scheufele has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Stuttgart, an MS in Computer Science from the University of Stuttgart, and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Stuttgart.
