Opened in 2010, Advanced Surgical Hospital is a physician-owned facility with a principal focus on providing elective orthopaedic procedures on an inpatient or outpatient basis. Its 14-bed inpatient unit accommodates patients requiring overnight stays; the unit has consistently recorded the region’s highest quality ratings and lowest complication rates per surgical procedure. In addition to its outstanding performance for patient experience, Advanced Surgical Hospital has been recognized as a recipient of the Pittsburgh Business Times Best Places to Work Award for the past four years and was named the 2014 Physician Hospital of the Year by Physician Hospitals of America.
