Aaron Prater

Aaron Prater is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in military leadership and education. Currently serving as a Faculty and Staff Instructor at Advanced Technology Leaders, Inc. since April 2020, Aaron supports the Faculty and Staff Development Branch by providing instruction and assisting in course assessments related to cyber education. Previously, Aaron served in the US Army from September 1985 to February 2023, achieving the rank of Sergeant Major and later Command Sergeant Major, where responsibilities included advising on troop welfare, optimizing communication network performance, and ensuring training excellence for over 10,000 soldiers annually. Aaron's analytical expertise was further demonstrated as a Lessons Learned Analyst at the Cyber Center of Excellence from March 2016 to March 2020. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Management and Leadership from Webster University and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science from Excelsior University, complemented by an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Hawaii Pacific University.
