Advanced Technology Research Council
Dr. Shaikha Almazrouei serves as the Research Lead at the Advanced Technology Research Council since August 2022 and holds multiple leadership roles including Head of the UAE Stem Cell Support Group and Head of the UAE Stem Cell Group, both positions initiated in October 2020. Previous experience includes being a Team Lead at Group 42, focusing on the Population Genome Program, and serving short tenures as a member of the International Society for Stem Cell Research, Research Assistant at Khalifa University, Molecular Scientist at Zayed Military Hospital, Environmental Officer at Agthia Group PJSC, Forensic Analyst at Abu Dhabi Police, and Quality Control Specialist at Julphar. Dr. Almazrouei's educational background includes a forthcoming Master's degree in Stem Cells from King's College London, alongside a PhD in Liver Transplant using Hepatocyte Microbeads and various degrees in Molecular Genetics and Cellular and Molecular Biology from United Arab Emirates University.
