Company Background
Advanced Tech Software (ATS) is a software development company specializing in solutions for the South African Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) market. ATS has created the DARE Track & Trace (T&T) software, designed to support the management of e-waste collection, refurbishment, and recycling.

Expertise and Experience
The management and development team at ATS brings over 20 years of collective experience in the local e-waste recycling industry, ensuring an in-depth understanding of the sector’s needs and challenges.

Addressing Producer Resistance
Recognizing the resistance from electronic producers to comply with e-waste EPR legislation, ATS identified a critical gap. The company offers producers alternatives to joining e-waste Producer Responsibility Organisations (PROs), providing more flexible options for meeting EPR obligations.

E-WasteLink Program Launch
To address these challenges, ATS launched the E-WasteLink program on April 25, 2025. This initiative aims to streamline producers’ e-waste EPR liabilities,
offering a practical and sane approach to compliance and management.
