Vice Admiral Landay has over 35 years of proven leadership experience in small, medium and large organizations. As a Retired Navy Vice Admiral, he is currently President of WE-LANDAY Consulting, focusing on Foreign Military Sales, International Business, DoD Acquisition and DoD Science and Technology. During his distinguished career with the Navy Vice Admiral Landay served as Director, Defense Security Cooperation Agency; Program Executive Officer for U.S. Navy non-nuclear shipbuilding programs; and the 21st Chief of Naval Research.
VADM Landay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the Naval Academy, a Master of Science degree in Systems Technology (C4I) from the Naval Postgraduate School, and is a graduate of the Program for Management Development at the Harvard Business School. His personal awards include multiple awards of the Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, as well as various unit awards. VADM Landay is a member of the U.S. Naval Institute, the Navy League and the Surface Navy Association.
