Ion Basa

Ion Basa is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical design and production management. Currently serving as Engineering and Production Manager at Advanced Thermovoltaic Systems since August 2019, Ion has co-invented two US patents and has successfully implemented cost-saving manufacturing techniques. Prior roles include Mechanical Engineer at Zodiac Aerospace, where Ion contributed to the design of next-generation in-flight entertainment systems, and served as Vehicle Battery Team Lead at Highlander Racing, focusing on Lithium Ion battery pack design and manufacturing. Ion's education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside, and two Associate’s Degrees in Mathematics and Multidisciplinary Sciences from Crafton Hills College.
