Kathie Harmon

Kathie Harmon has over 35 years of experience in the financial industry. Kathie currently holds the position of Assistant Vice President - Internal Audit & Compliance at Advancial Federal Credit Union since September 2015. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Internal Audit at the same company from July 2013 to September 2015.

Before joining Advancial, Kathie worked at CU-Resources - Cornerstone League as an Internal Auditor from November 2007 to July 2013. In this role, they provided audit and compliance expertise to organizations in several states and worked with management to develop tailored audit and compliance plans. Kathie reviewed and finalized audits performed by staff auditors.

Previously, Kathie worked at Fort Sill Federal Credit Union as an Internal Auditor from 2001 to 2007 and as a Lending Supervisor from 1985 to 2001.

Kathie Harmon received their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Cameron University. Kathie also obtained certifications in Certified Credit Union Internal Auditor (CCUIA) from CUNA. Additionally, they completed a program in Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist (BSACS) from CUNA.
