Kevin Tulley

Regenerative Agriculture Consultant at Advancing Eco Agriculture

Kevin Tulley is an AEA Sales Consultant, working with growers to improve their crop health, soil health and profitability through recommendations regarding nutrient management and cultural practices. This includes management of sap analysis throughout the season, interpretation of sap and soil analysis data, product deliveries, and warehousing. Some crops he focuses on in the PNW are Hops, Blueberries, Tree Fruit, and Vegetables.

He studied sustainability and soil biology in college then entered a career in composting. Prior to his focus in Compost Operations, Kevin was involved in the outdoor recreation industry for nearly 10 years, exploring wild and scenic rivers as a professional river guide and white-water kayaker all over California, Oregon, and Washington. In the compost industry, Kevin went from driving front loaders and running trommel screens to General Management of a company with 7 different compost facilities. He has also worked as the General Manager at a large composting and green waste recycling company in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he managed finance, operations, regulatory permitting and overall programmatic development of the company.

He was excited to dive into agronomy and work with farmers on the ground when an opportunity with AEA came about. Some of the most exciting moments on the job are visiting an exceptional crop, or hearing from a farmer who has begun seeing incredible results. When a farmer is happy and excited, so is Kevin. He lives in Hood River, OR with his wife, Jaime, where they spend their free time exploring the outdoors, playing with their dogs and dreaming about a starting two-piece metal band. He also enjoys whitewater kayaking, exercising, playing drums, remodeling his house, and gardening.
