Jaime Flores-Vasquez

Jaime Flores-Vasquez has extensive work experience in research and development roles. From 2021 to the present, Jaime has been working at AdvanSix as a Lead R&D Scientist. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2021, they held the position of Senior R&D Scientist II at the same company. Before joining AdvanSix, Jaime worked as a Senior R&D Scientist II at Honeywell Performance Materials and Technology from 2015 to 2016. Jaime also served as a Research Associate at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey from 2011 to 2015, where they focused on synthetic and mechanistic studies in organometallic chemistry and catalysis. Additionally, Jaime worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Indiana University from 2009 to 2011 and as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Arlington from 2004 to 2009. Jaime gained industry experience as an intern at RHODIA CHEMICALS LTD in 2008.

Jaime Flores-Vasquez obtained a B.Sc. in Chemistry General from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. They then pursued further education and completed Masters studies in Analytical Chemistry at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. They later obtained a PhD. in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Arlington. Jaime also has a certification in Green Belt Design for Six Sigma from Honeywell.
