Merritt Peterson

Merritt Peterson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of procurement and business development. Merritt has held various leadership roles in different companies over the years. In their most recent position at AdvanSix, Merritt served as the Senior Director of Procurement, overseeing all categories of spend with a team of 20 professionals. Prior to that, they worked as the Procurement Director at Honeywell and the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager at Chemtura. Merritt also gained experience in business development as a Consultant at AMCS Corporation and as the Director of Global Business Development at BOC Gases. Merritt started their career as a Senior Process Engineer at Air Liquide Engineering. Throughout their career, Merritt has demonstrated strong expertise in strategic sourcing, project development, and operational management.

Merritt Peterson holds an MBA degree from Columbia Business School, which was obtained from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley between 1985 and 1988. In 2014, Merritt also obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
