Abdallah Hashem has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Abdallah started their career as an Engineering Trainee at BYD Auto, where they received training in welding processes of vehicle chassis parts. Abdallah then gained experience at PetroGas, working on receiving, storing, and selling liquefied petroleum gases and inspecting and repairing damaged cylinders.
Later, Abdallah worked as an Engineering Trainee at Energya Power Cables, where they learned about the manufacturing processes of electrical power transmission cables. Abdallah also gained experience at The General Company for Ceramics and Porcelain Products, where they trained on the manufacturing processes and techniques of ceramics products and sanitaryware.
Abdallah then joined Sierra & GCF, where they worked as a Production Engineer, responsible for monitoring and managing production activities in the infrastructure water pipe lines industry. Abdallah then moved on to MCV - Manufacturing Commercial Vehicles, where they served as a Mechanical Design Engineer, designing parts of Double Decker buses for the UK market.
Currently, Abdallah is employed at Advansys ESC as a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Material Handling at Dematic Corp. In this role, they are involved in the design, installation, and commissioning of material handling systems for customers in North America and Europe. Additionally, they have also worked as a Mechanical Engineer III - Material Handling and a Mechanical Designer - Automation Solutions.
Throughout their career, Abdallah has demonstrated expertise in mechanical engineering, material handling systems, automation solutions, design, installation, and commissioning. Abdallah has a track record of finding cost-effective solutions, improving quality and productivity, and effectively managing production activities.
Abdallah Hashem completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Design & Production Engineering from Ain Shams University, during the period of 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Mobarak Secondary school from 2005 to 2008 and obtained their Thanawya Ama degree. Furthermore, they obtained a certification as a CSWA - Certified SolidWorks Associate from Dassault Systèmes in August 2020.
