Mohamed Gomaa

Mohamed Gomaa has extensive work experience in mechanical engineering and quality control. Their most recent position was as a Mechanical Engineering Team Lead at Advansys ESC, where they were responsible for managing a team and creating system layouts for warehouses and distribution centers. Before that, they worked as a Senior Mechanical System Engineer and a Mechanical Project & Commissioning Engineer at the same company. In these roles, they recommended cost optimization ideas, provided project status reports, and issued orders.

Prior to their time at Advansys ESC, Mohamed worked as a Quality Control Engineer at ENGINEERING CO. FOR EXHAUST SYSTEMS - ABOU EL YAZEED, where they implemented and monitored quality plans and developed quality standards. Mohamed also served as a Teaching Assistant at Technology Cluster, where they provided assistance to professors and demonstrated subjects to undergraduate students. Additionally, they have training experience from their roles as a Trainee at LEONI, Arab Organization for Industrialization, Helwan for Engineering Industries Company, and The Arab Contractors.

Mohamed Gomaa completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Production Engineering from Helwan University Cairo, from the year 2008 to 2013. In addition to their bachelor's degree, they have obtained several certifications in different areas. These certifications include being certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) and Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), both obtained from Highly Professional Advisors in 2020. Mohamed also received a Certificate of Professional Procurement from hpa | Highly Professional Advisors in December 2019. Other certifications include Shipping and Logistics Management, Supply Chain Diploma, and Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), all obtained from Highly Professional Advisors in 2019. Furthermore, they completed an Advanced Warehousing Management course from Highly Professional Advisors in 2019, a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt course from TUM School of Management Executive Education in 2018, and two Six Sigma courses, namely Six Sigma: Analyze, Improve and control from edX in 2017, and Six Sigma: Define and Measure from edX in 2017.
