Markus Haas

Markus Haas has extensive experience in promoting international business relations, currently serving as the Head of ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA in Tel Aviv since September 2006, where a strong focus is placed on connecting Austrian and Israeli companies. In previous roles, Markus led initiatives in export finance and international projects, supporting around 800 Austrian companies in their global ventures. Earlier positions include responsibilities as Head of ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA in Algiers and Deputy roles in New York, New Delhi, and Damascus. Markus's professional background is complemented by educational achievements from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and prestigious institutions such as CEMS and HEC Paris, specializing in diplomacy and international management.
