James Whiteside

James Whiteside, CPA, currently serves as Cofounder and Partner at Advantage Partners since February 2023. Prior to this role, James held the position of Partner Relations Manager at Vanta from October 2021 to February 2023 and worked as a Senior Consultant at CrossCountry Consulting between March and October 2021. James began his career at Deloitte, where time was spent as both a Senior Consultant and Consultant from August 2017 to March 2021, along with an internship in Technology Risk in the summer of 2016. Early professional experiences also include roles as a Busser at Duke's Chowder House and as a Project Engineer Apprentice at Dahlgren Industrial, Inc. James earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Washington and UW Foster School of Business from 2012 to 2017.
