Dallas Caley

Dallas Caley has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Dallas began their career as a Web/Graphic Artist at Shaxon Industries, where they maintained and enhanced the company's primary customer website. Dallas then worked as an Application Developer/Tech Lead at After 10 Studios, where they created web and mobile applications for various clients. Dallas played a significant role in developing the Viper Smart Start vehicle tracking application, which was successfully deployed to the Hertz rental car fleet.

After that, Dallas worked as a PHP Developer II at HauteLook, an e-commerce retailer specializing in flash sales. During their time there, they introduced Test Driven Development and unit testing, improving the efficiency of the company's infrastructure. Dallas also developed a returns processing system used by employees and customers.

Dallas then transitioned to working at SkyCare, a company that provided integrated EHR and billing applications for medical practices. As a Software Development Manager, they led a team of developers and successfully gained certification in the Medicare/Medicaid EHR Meaningful Use Incentive Program.

After SkyCare, Dallas joined TwinMed as a Software Developer III. Dallas developed and implemented a new system to promote the purchase of alternate products, streamlining processes and increasing profitability for the company.

Dallas's next role was at Buy It Installed, where they served as a Lead Software Engineer. Dallas developed the company's first mobile application, enabling contractors to register and receive contract work. Dallas also created a digital asset management system that allowed non-developers to create complex logic for project fulfillment.

Following Buy It Installed, Dallas worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Emotive, a mobile messaging platform. Dallas played a key role in building the platform's version 2, which significantly increased message throughput. Dallas was also involved in hiring essential development team members and the new CTO, leading to additional funding rounds.

Dallas then took on the role of a Software Development Project Manager at UpdatePromise, a company that provides web and mobile tools for automotive dealerships. Dallas led a team of software developers, QA professionals, and network administrators to achieve company goals, including integration with insurance companies and major automotive names like Toyota.

Most recently, Dallas joined Cherry Blossom Development as a Co-Founder and Entrepreneur. Dallas collaborated with other founders and creative talents to transform their ideas into reality.

Currently, Dallas works at Advantage Solutions, specifically with the Atlas division, as a Lead Software Engineer / Data Engineer. Advantage Solutions is a large organization providing marketing services for the retail industry. Dallas leverages their expertise as a big-data engineer to contribute to the company's IT infrastructure and develop various applications and online services.

Dallas Caley is currently enrolled in California State University, Long Beach, where they are pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems. They are currently taking classes as a junior, including a DB Management class. Prior to attending CSULB, Dallas completed classes for transfer at Long Beach City College in Business Information Systems. They also hold an AA degree in Journalism from Fullerton College and an AS degree in Science from Cypress College. In addition to their educational background, Dallas has obtained a certification from Microsoft as an Office2019: Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Associate in 2020.
