Louis Benton Jr.

Louis Benton Jr., MBA, has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as Consulting Director of Applications at Advantest since September 2010, where previous roles included Principal Applications Engineer, System Engineer, and Applications Engineer. Prior to Advantest, Louis held the position of Operations Manager at STATS ChipPAC Ltd., overseeing daily operations for the semiconductor test division for over five years. Louis also worked as Principal Applications Engineer at Credence Systems Corporation, providing technical and sales support for semiconductor test applications, and as Applications Engineer at SZ Testsysteme Inc., developing custom test applications and providing customer support. Early career experience includes a role as Product Engineer at National Semiconductor, managing cross-functional teams for new product development. Louis holds an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix and a BSEE in Analog and Digital Integrated Circuit Design from UC San Diego.
