Jeff Nielsen

Jeff Nielsen is the Chief Operating Officer at Advantic, a position they have held since September 2014. Prior to joining Advantic, Jeff had a distinguished career in the United States Air Force, where they served as a Project Manager and Mechanical Engineer.

Jeff Nielsen began their career in the Air Force in 2006 as a Mechanical Engineer. In this role, they directed modifications to large, complex rocket component test facilities to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications. Jeff also served as a Graduate Student at the Air Force Institute of Technology, where they earned their Masters of Science in Aeronautical Engineering with a focus on Air-Breathing Propulsion and Structural Materials.

In 2011, Jeff was promoted to Project Manager, where they managed operations with a staff of 6 for the Air and Cyberspace Intelligence Group, a 500 person engineering analysis organization that determines the performance and vulnerabilities of foreign air, air defense and cyberspace systems. Jeff held this position until 2014 when they left the Air Force to join Advantic.

Since joining Advantic, Jeff has been instrumental in leading the company’s growth and expansion. Under their leadership, Advantic has become a leading provider of technology solutions for the aerospace and defense industries.

Jeff Nielsen has earned a Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology-Graduate School of Engineering & Management as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Their manager is Jim Foley, CEO. Erin Rastikis - Human Resources Consultant, Anna Schneider - Production Support Manager, and Derrick Beaver - CNC Programmer report to Jeff Nielsen. Jeff Nielsen works with Matt Reber - Vice President of Construction, Jesse Crawford - Vice President of Engineering, and Brian Stamper - CRO.
