Dimitris G. Placantonakis

Dimitris G. Placantonakis is an advisor at Advantis Medical Imaging. Dimitris previously worked as an intern at Eugenides Hospital - Research Unit of Radiology & Medical Imaging (University of Athens) from July 2014 to December 2014, where they investigated and optimized image processing algorithms concerning different kinds of MRI exam (DTI, fMRI , Perfusion) on MATLAB. Dimitris also worked as a scientific associate at Eginitio University Psychiatric Hospital of Athens from January 2011 to December 2014, where they processed images of DTI and fMRI exams on both aphasic and healthy subjects – combined studies.

Dimitris G. Placantonakis received their Master's degree in Molecular Medicine and Neurobiology from the Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon. Dimitris also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and MEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, as well as a 4th High School diploma from Nea Smyrni.
