Ryan Foster

Ryan Foster has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Ryan began their career as a Staff/Clinical Pharmacist at Lake Forest Hospital in 2005. Ryan then worked as a Pharmacy Manager-in-Training at Cardinal Health in 2006 and later became an Assistant Director of Pharmacy at New Hanover Regional Medical Center from 2007 to 2009. Ryan joined Spectrum Health in 2009 and held several roles, including Director of Pharmacy Services and Senior Director of Pharmacy Services for the Hospital Group, where they managed clinical, operational, and financial outcomes for inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services. Ryan also established a hospital group-wide Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. Ryan then joined Sentry Data Systems as a Strategic Account Executive, responsible for identifying 340B opportunities and utilizing analytics tools to identify cost-saving opportunities. Ryan later worked at Omnicell as a Senior Manager of Business Intelligence before moving on to their current role as the System Director of Pharmacy Services-Programs at Advantus Health Partners.

Ryan Foster has a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business from Grand Valley State University. Ryan has also completed the Pharmacy Leadership Academy at the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacy. Additionally, they have pursued studies in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts as well as the School of Nursing at the University of Michigan. Ryan has obtained additional certifications including "SQL for Non-Programmers" from LinkedIn and is a Registered Pharmacist in the state of Michigan.
