Amaar Idris

Amaar Idris has extensive work experience in the field of tax and finance. Amaar currently holds the position of Head of Tax at ADVANZ PHARMA, a role that they began in April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an International Tax Manager at ADVANZ PHARMA from March 2020.

Before joining ADVANZ PHARMA, Amaar served as the EMEA Tax Director at Refinitiv from October 2018 to March 2020. Amaar also held various roles at Thomson Reuters, including Tax Manager from March 2017 to September 2018, Tax Accountant from June 2015 to February 2017, and Lead Tax Content Developer from December 2012 to June 2015.

Amaar gained experience in treasury product control at Credit Suisse from October 2011 to December 2012, and earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Tax Content Developer at Thomson Reuters from January 2010 to September 2011.

Amaar began their professional journey as an Assistant Manager at Deloitte in September 2006, where they worked until December 2009.

Amaar Idris attended Caterham High School, but no specific dates were provided. Amaar then went on to study at UCL from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management. Amaar later pursued further education and certifications.
