Birte Pahn

Birte Pahn has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Birte is currently employed as a Senior Director of Marketing Business Development at ADVANZ PHARMA. Prior to this, they worked at Intercept Pharmaceuticals as a Marketing Director for the D-A-CH region and also served as the Regional Sales Manager for the South region. Before that, Birte held various roles at Biogen, including Global Head of Strategy Patient Services, Head of Patient Services, Head of Patient and Nurse Liaison, Brand Director, and Marketing Director. Birte also has experience as a Marketing Director at Nycomed Takeda Company, Product Manager at Essex Pharma GmbH, and Product Manager at Allergopharma J. Ganzer KG. Birte started their career as a pharmaceutically-trained assistant at Alpha Apotheke.

Birte Pahn obtained a Diplom-Kauffrau degree in Marketing/Arbeits-und Organisationspsychologie/Operations Research from Justus Liebig University Giessen, where they studied from 1988 to 1993. Prior to that, they attended Völkerschule Osnabrück from 1985 to 1988 and completed a degree in Pharmazeutisch Technische Assistentin.
