Carita Viru is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in commercial and corporate law. Currently serving as Legal Director and Head of Legal for Commercial Europe at ADVANZ PHARMA since December 2019, Carita has previously held roles as Senior Legal Counsel focused on business development. Prior to ADVANZ PHARMA, Carita worked as an Associate at Baker McKenzie, specializing in M&A and capital markets. Early legal experience includes a trainee solicitor position at Branch Austin McCormick LLP and a paralegal role at Smith & Nephew. With a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Westminster and a Legal Practice Course from BPP Law School, Carita has a strong educational foundation.
