Domenico Papa

Domenico Papa has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Domenico currently holds the position of Director of Sales Operations for Rare Disease & Specialty Care at ADVANZ PHARMA. Prior to this, they served as the National Sales Manager for Rare Diseases at Intercept Pharmaceuticals. Domenico also worked as a Sales Manager at Molteni Farmaceutici for five years. In addition, they held the role of Sales Director for Immunology at MSD and worked as an Area Manager for Immunology at Schering-Plough Research Institute. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Area Manager for Primary Care at AstraZeneca Italia and as an ISF Specialist. Domenico began their career as an ISF at Chiesi Group.

Domenico Papa has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Bologna Business School, which they obtained from 2018 to 2020. Domenico also holds a Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma from MSD Lean Six Sigma, which they obtained from 2010 to 2013. In addition, they attended AstraZeneca's Management Academy at Brussels, Belgium in 2005-2006 for the Global SFE Academy program. Domenico completed their undergraduate education at the University of Naples 'Parthenope' from 1985 to 1990, earning a degree in Scienze motorie (scienze motorie). Domenico has also obtained additional certifications such as the BBS react innovation program from Bologna Business School - Università di Bologna in 2021 and the Cambridge English test level B2 from the University of Cambridge in 2002.
