Fernando Pacheco

Fernando Pacheco is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Business Manager for Portugal at ADVANZ PHARMA since July 2022. Prior to this role, Fernando held the position of Hepatology Business Manager at Intercept Pharmaceuticals from February 2018 to June 2022. Experience also includes entrepreneurship as a self-employed Managing Partner from August 2015 to January 2018 and a leadership role as Head of Sales for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Kemin Industries in early 2015. Additionally, Fernando has a rich history with Bristol-Myers Squibb, where roles included Disease Area Lead and Business Unit Director, and a decade-long tenure at GlaxoSmithKline encompassing various leadership positions. Early career experience includes product management at Schering AG and Seber. Fernando holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from ISLA, completed in 1994.
