Ashley Musick

Ashley Musick has extensive experience in the field of regulatory compliance and operations. Ashley is currently serving as the Director of Client Services at Advarra since June 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Salus IRB from March 2013 to June 2021, where they held the position of IRB Operations Manager and Non-Scientific Board Member. Ashley'sresponsibilities included ensuring compliance with regulations, driving strategic planning, and managing operational direction. From January 2010 to March 2013, they worked at RCRC Independent Review Board, initially as a Senior Client Services Manager and later as an IRB Coordinator and Non-Scientific IRB Board Member. Ashley also served as an IRB Assistant Coordinator at RCRC Independent Review Board from December 2008 to February 2009. Before that, they had a brief tenure at IntegReview as an IRB Assistant Coordinator and Quality Control Assistant. Ashley'searliest known work experience is as a Secretary and Tax Preparer at Mike McGregor, CPA from January 2002 to April 2004.

Ashley Musick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Business, and Sociology from the University of Central Oklahoma, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Additionally, they obtained a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) degree from Moore Norman Technology Center in 2004. Ashley has further enhanced their professional skills by obtaining certifications such as Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) from the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) and Certified IRB Professional (CIP) from PRIM&R – Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research. Ashley has also completed various professional development courses from LinkedIn on topics such as leadership, accountability, performance, change management, emotional intelligence, and inclusive leadership, among others. Moreover, Ashley completed the Master Certificate in Leadership Management from MasterClassManagement.com in 2020.
