Karim Ben dhia has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Karim is the Founder & CEO of ADVEEZ, a company specializing in the identification and securing of goods and people. Under their leadership, ADVEEZ has achieved significant milestones such as obtaining JEI status, participating in the BPI Excellence program, and being recognized as a "Pass French Tech" company.
In 2021, Karim became the President of Kareteq, a company focused on developing connected products for health and well-being. Prior to this role, they served as the Secretary General - VP Deeptech at La French Tech Toulouse in 2019.
Karim also gained valuable experience as the General Manager of NewEng from 2010 to 2013. Before that, they worked at Continental as a Senior Product Line Manager, overseeing the creation of a "Hands free access control" business and contributing to the development of mechatronic sensors for automotive passive access. Their responsibilities at Continental also included hardware and software development, as well as production setup in multiple countries.
Before joining Continental, Karim worked at Measurement Specialties, Inc. and Motorola Semiconductor as an application manager and application engineer sensors, respectively.
Throughout their career, Karim Ben dhia has demonstrated expertise in micro-electronics, embedded applications, cloud management solutions, and hardware and software development.
Karim Ben dhia attended the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse from 1990 to 1995, where they pursued a degree in Electronic and IT and obtained an Engineer qualification. In 1995, they continued their studies at the same institution, pursuing a DEA in Microelectronic. The end year for this degree is not mentioned. Karim later went on to attend the Toulouse School of Management from 1999 to 2001, earning a DESS in Business administration.

ADVEEZ
Founded in 2011 in Toulouse, Adveez offers a complete solution for monitoring and controlling travel on sensitive sites (airports, ports, factories, logistics warehouses, health sites, ...). The solution is an integrated offering comprising electronic boxes installed on vehicles or personnel, a communication network, and a Software As A Service(SAAS) software solution for data exploitation.In parallel, Adveez has developed applications allowing the management of the ambulation, detection of fugues and falls mainly, for disoriented people, suffering from Alzheimer's disease for example. These products are intended for health facilities or families and mainly marketed through a network of resellers/installers.In 2015 and 2016, the start-up made a major breakthrough especially in the airport sector where its solution is used to locate, secure and facilitate the operation of service vehicles (luggage, fuel oil or food, etc.). .). After having equipped many French airports, Adveez now equips American airports (Atlanta, New York, and San Francisco) and European airports. Customers include Delta Airlines, Avia Partner, and Brussels Airlines.
