Tom Allen

Tom Allen is the Managing Director at Advent International. Tom has over fifteen years of experience in the corporate finance and M&A industry.

Tom started their career as a freelance consultant, working with various companies on projects ranging from strategy to execution. In 2014, they joined Price Bailey Strategic Corporate Finance as an advisor. There, they worked on M&A deals and provided advice on corporate finance matters.

In 2017, Tom joined Midaxo as a Senior Consultant. In this role, they provided M&A advice, product feedback and testing, and supported marketing activities. Tom also authored many of Midaxo's M&A guides, playbooks and best practice articles.

In October 2017, Tom was promoted to Head of M&A and Corporate Development. In this role, they were responsible for leading Midaxo's strategy and execution across new initiatives, software development, business development, strategic partnerships, and content & software product launches.

Tom is a panel speaker/moderator at various international M&A conferences including New York, Boston, Zurich, Dusseldorf, Stockholm, and London. Tom is also a contributor/guest lecturer to Warwick Business School EMBA.

Tom Allen has a ACA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a Private Equity & Venture Capital from Università Bocconi, an ICAEW Audit Qualification (AQ) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a Master's degree in Development Economics & International Development from the University of East Anglia, a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of East Anglia, and certification from Coursera in Private Equity and Venture Capital.

They work with Priscila Antunes - Tax & Finance Director, Daniel Tortora - VP, Limited Partner Services, and Sebastian Garcia - Vice President. Tom Allen reports to David Mussafer, Managing Partner and Chairman.
