Michael Griffin

Michael Griffin currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Advocacy and Public Policy at AdventHealth, a position held since March 2017, following a previous role as Vice President within the same department. Prior to joining AdventHealth, Michael Griffin was the Vice President of Public Affairs at Florida Hospital from June 2014 to March 2017, leading various teams focused on Government Relations, Corporate Communications, and Community Relations. Earlier in the career, Michael Griffin worked at The Walt Disney Company, where responsibilities included developing Crisis and Public Affairs strategies as Vice President of International Communication Strategies and managing communications for Walt Disney World. Michael Griffin began the professional journey at Orlando Sentinel from 1984 to 2008, where various roles included Reporter, Political Editor, and Deputy Editorial Page Editor. Michael Griffin holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Central Florida, earned in 1984.
