Matthew Casey

Matthew Casey is an experienced radiography professional currently serving as the General X-ray Section Manager at Adventist HealthCare Limited in Australia since May 2013, where leadership and management of a multi-room X-ray department are primary responsibilities. In addition to this managerial role, Matthew works as a full-time radiographer across various modalities, including general X-ray and interventional radiology, while also fulfilling the role of Patient Safety Champion through seminars and workshops. Matthew has been an academic at the University of Sydney since July 2020, providing support to radiography students. Previously, Matthew held positions as a Senior Radiographer/X-ray Team Leader at The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust and as a Radiographer at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Matthew is pursuing a Postgraduate Degree in Advanced Practice at the University of Tasmania and holds a BSc (Hons) in Radiography from the University of Leeds.
