Josh Otten

Josh Otten's work experience begins in 2009 at Bob Hall Budweiser, where they worked as a Sales representative, managing over 100 sales accounts and coordinating a team of delivery drivers for three counties.

In 2011, they joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Consultant and later advanced to the role of Senior Consultant. During their time there, they served as a project manager, providing support for the application infrastructure of VA Connected Care mobile applications. Josh also designed an escalation process for application defects and enhancements and led a team providing Tier III escalation support. Additionally, they provided project management and Scrum Master support for build management activities and application-level performance monitoring.

Since 2016, Josh has been working at Adventist HealthCare, initially as a Technology Solutions Architect and later as the Director of IT - Solutions Engineering. In these roles, they led large-scale technology implementation and upgrade projects, supporting the organization's growth strategy. Noteworthy projects include overseeing IT activities for the construction and opening of a new acute care hospital, managing multi-million-dollar IT procurements, and designing and implementing the entire IT infrastructure.

Josh's expertise extends to various aspects such as low-voltage cabling, LAN and WLAN infrastructure, telecom infrastructure, server infrastructure, radio communications, EMR build/configuration/testing, and implementation of patient engagement and building automation systems. Josh also managed IP schema and network security/segmentation and played a leadership role in hospital transition planning and execution.

In January 2021, Josh transitioned to the role of IT Director Solutions Engineering and Design & Architecture at Adventist HealthCare, where they continue to contribute their expertise in scaling enterprise technology and standards.

Josh Otten earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Josh also obtained several certifications, including ITIL 4 Foundation from PeopleCert in 2022 and Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in 2018.
