Katie Eckert

Katie Eckert, CPA, has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Katie currently holds the position of Vice President of Reimbursement and Strategic Analytics at Adventist HealthCare. Prior to this role, they served as Vice President of Strategic Analytics at the Maryland Hospital Association from June 2020 to January 2023. Katie also held the position of Vice President of Health Care Payment at the Maryland Hospital Association from September 2019 to June 2020. Before joining the Maryland Hospital Association, Katie worked as CFO of Post Acute Services/Operations Finance Atlantic Group at Bon Secours Mercy Health from November 2018 to September 2019. Katie also held various roles at Bon Secours Health System, including Interim CFO of Home Care and Hospice from April 2016 to November 2018 and Director of Operations Finance from August 2014 to November 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Bon Secours Baltimore Health System, where they served as Director of Budget & Reimbursement from August 2011 to July 2015, Manager of Financial Analysis and Planning from April 2009 to September 2011, and Senior Operations Finance Analyst from February 2009 to April 2009.

Katie Eckert, CPA obtained their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland in the years 2002-2006. In addition to their degree, they hold certifications such as Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP), HFMA Business of Health Care, and Operational Excellence. Katie is also a Certified Public Accountant.
