Marcos Azeredo

Marcos Azeredo's work experience includes various roles in the finance and investment sectors. From 2012 to 2014, they worked in the Financial Markets team and later joined the Research and Valuation department at FEP Finance Club. In 2014, they joined Sonae as part of the M&A department, where they conducted market research, company profiling, and played a role in the creation of Sonae E. Ventures. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as an investment analyst at Sonae IM, responsible for M&A activities and portfolio management. In 2017, they joined Bright Pixel SA as a Portfolio Development team member. Marcos then moved to SONAE in 2020, working as a Project Manager in New Business. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at Leadzai since 2021.

Marcos Azeredo completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics at FEP U. Porto - Economics and Management from 2009 to 2012. Marcos then pursued a Master's degree in Finance at the same institution from 2012 to 2014. In 2015, Marcos obtained the IELTS certification from the British Council. Later, in 2019, they achieved the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder certification from the CFA Institute.
