Jeffrey Appell

Jeffrey Appell serves as the President of Heller Consulting, overseeing all facets of operations and leading initiatives to enhance revenue and service offerings since joining in September 2006. Under Appell's leadership, the firm became part of the RKD Group in 2024, bolstering its fundraising technology capabilities. Previous roles within Heller Consulting include Vice President of Services and Director of Consulting Services, where effective resource management and strategic planning were paramount. Additionally, Appell contributes to multiple advisory boards, including the Advisory Steering Team for Microsoft’s Tech for Social Impact and the Partner Advisory Board for Salesforce.org. Earlier career experiences include positions at Stern Grove Festival and JCCSF, alongside a technology team manager role at Heller Consulting, focusing on CRM data migration and implementation. Academically, Appell holds a BA and MA in History from UC Santa Barbara and San Francisco State University, respectively.
