João Couto

João Couto currently serves as the EMEA Vice President and COO for Cloud Commercial Solutions at Microsoft, a position held since February 2013, alongside responsibilities as Vice President for the SAP Business Unit. Prior to Microsoft, João Couto was the CFO for Vodafone Unified Communications Group from January 2011 to February 2013, where involvement extended to various board roles, including Vodafone Portugal and Vodafone Global Enterprise. João Couto's career at Vodafone Portugal spanned from July 2008 to August 2011 as Chief Financial Officer and board member. Earlier experience includes a tenure at A. T. Kearney from April 1999 to June 2008 as Vice President and Partner. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Marketing from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and a Bachelor of Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
