Umar Alfarooq

Umar AlFarooq is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and community service. Currently serving as President of TechUnited, Inc. since August 2011, Umar focuses on project management, client engagement, and technical specifications. Umar also leads Islamic Connections, a community outreach initiative, since June 2006. In the tech industry, contributions include roles as Operations Engineer at Microsoft since April 2006, SQL/App Developer at SoftTech, Inc. from 1998 to 2006, and various other positions including Web Developer and DBA. Academic qualifications include an Authorized degree in Jurisprudence and Doctrine of Faith from Shathilia Ninowiyya and an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Broward College.
