Sakura Ly has held a variety of roles in the past decade. In 2010, they began their career as an Assistant Manager at Sakura Village Guest House. In 2015, they became an Assistant Directing Manager at KFour Group. In 2016, they held two roles, a Customer Service role at Harrods International Academy and a Business Development Manager role at Somet Condominum. In 2017, they were a Marketing Assistant at Waku Waku Shabu Shabu Restaurant and had two roles at the Cambodian Student Association in the United Kingdom, as Public Relations and Vice President. In 2018, they were a Finance Assistant at Heekcaa Cambodia and a Hospitality Service at Element Personnel. In 2021, they became the Founder & CEO of Eggcellenttoast at E-Toast Limited and in 2020 they were an Advertising Manager at Drovo.
Sakura Ly has completed a range of educational qualifications. From 2013 to 2015, they attended Raffles College of Design and Commerce, where they obtained a Diploma in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2016, they completed a learning by doing course training at MBK Hotel&Tourism Academy, specializing in Hotel and Tourism Management. In 2017, they attended Kaplan International College London and obtained an International Year 1 in Business Administration and Management, General. Sakura then continued their studies at the University of Westminster, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services in 2019. Sakura subsequently obtained a Master's degree in Investment and Risk finance from the University of Westminster in 2020.
