Alice Young

Alice Young has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Alice started their career in 1992 as a Laboratory Assistant at the University of California, Davis, then moved on to intern as a Health Hazard Intern at California EPA in 1995. Alice then worked as a Project Manager/Conservationist at USDA-NRCS from 1995 to 2000. Alice briefly worked as an Instructor in Environmental Toxicology at California Polytechnic State University-Pomona in 1998. Alice joined the City of San Jose as a Budget Analyst in 2000 and stayed until 2001. Alice then worked as a Human Resources Consultant/Generalist at Talenthouse from 2012 to 2020. Alice's most recent positions include being a Sr. Human Resources Business Partner at Adverum Biotechnologies, Inc. from 2019 to 2020 and currently serving as an Associate Director of People Operations at the same company since October 2020.

Alice Young obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physiology and Environmental Toxicology from the University of California, Davis in the period of 1990-1995. Alice later pursued a degree in Human resources management from UCSC Silicon Valley Extension from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, Alice obtained several certifications, including "Developing a Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Program," "Performance Management: Conducting Performance Reviews," "Coaching and Developing Employees," "Data-Driven Learning Design," "Human Resources: Running Company Onboarding," and "LinkedIn Learning Highlights: Business Strategy and Analysis" from LinkedIn. Alice also obtained an HR Management certification from UCSC Silicon Valley Extension and an Everything DiSC Certification from Wiley.
