James Derry

James Derry currently serves as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Advisor360°, a FinTech company, since 2025. Prior to this role, James held the position of Senior Director, Associate General Counsel at Sallie Mae, where responsibilities included managing legal matters for a leading diversified financial services company. James's experience also includes serving as Director of Business & Legal Affairs at Roku Inc., General Counsel and VP of Strategy and Business Development at Cellebrite, and various legal roles at CK Franchising, The Nielsen Company, MicroStrategy, Procter & Gamble, and Dickstein Shapiro LLP. James holds a JD in Intellectual Property and Complex Litigation from DePaul University College of Law and a B.S. in Physiology, Pathology, and Related Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with Korean language skills acquired at Inje University.
